2019 Blue Devil Basketball Camp with Coach Douglas
Coach Douglas just finished his 9th year as a head varsity basketball coach (16th overall). He has compiled a record of 95-38 in his five years at Quincy High School and 177-72 overall as a head coach. The lessons he has learned throughout the years are valuable and are taught throughout the week of camp.
“I feel blessed to be in the position I am in. being able to help kids in the community grow and improve daily on and off the basketball court is a dream come true.”
This camp is a great opportunity to expand on the skills involved in the game of basketball. No matter the level, you cannot work on the fundamentals of the game enough. Our program goal is “constant improvement,” and we really focus on that throughout the week of camp.

Goals of the Camp
The goals of the Andy Douglas/Blue Devil Basketball Camp is to provide an opportunity for students to learn more about the game of basketball. We also want to teach valuable skills that will help players with all levels of experience as they continue playing the game.
An important focus will be teaching and encouraging kids to use proper technique and form rather than focusing on immediate results. If they can practice proper form now it will make for a more successful player in the future.
We want to develop great players in this program, but more importantly is to develop great people.
A special plan for families that are interested in sending more than one boy is available. The first boy will pay $60.00 and each additional boy wanting to attend is discounted to $50.00.
We will go through all aspects of the game including shooting, passing, dribbling, screening, defense, and team offense (age appropriate). Camp will be held at Blue Devil Gymnasium (Baldwin School).
